1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of the mail service offered at extort.fans, both for temporary disposable addresses and for permanent mailboxes. By using it for the first time you accept them.

2. The service

The service is provided free of charge and without any commitment to a particular level of availability. There is no entitlement to delivery, to reachability or to the continued existence of the service. Maintenance, outages and discontinuation of operations are possible at any time.

Temporary addresses can only receive. Sending is technically impossible and will not be enabled on request.

3. Permitted use

The following are prohibited in particular:

sending unsolicited bulk mail and any form of spam,
phishing, fraud, identity deception and advance-fee fraud,
distributing malware,
harassment, threats, coercion and extortion,
distributing depictions of child sexual abuse,
distributing other content prohibited under applicable law,
any attempt to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, its users or third parties,
the automated bulk creation of addresses in circumvention of the limits.

4. Consequences of breaches

Where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach, mailboxes may be suspended and deleted without prior notice. Criminal offences are reported and we cooperate with the competent authorities to the extent legally required.

5. Encryption and data loss

Message content is encrypted before storage in such a way that the operator cannot read it. That has an immediate consequence you need to know: if you lose both your password and your recovery kit, access is lost for good. There is no procedure by which the operator could restore data. There is no entitlement to restoration.

Content of temporary addresses is deleted completely and irrecoverably once the lifetime ends. Here too there is no entitlement to restoration.

6. Backups

You are responsible for backing up important messages yourself. Permanent mailboxes offer an mbox export for that purpose.

7. Liability

The operator's liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. There is no liability for data loss, missed messages, delayed delivery or indirect damages, as far as legally permitted. Liability for injury to life, body and health and under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

8. Termination

You can delete your mailbox at any time in the settings. The operator may discontinue provision at any time with reasonable notice; in the event of breaches of section 3, without notice.

9. Changes

These terms may be changed. The version in force is on this page with its date. Anyone who continues to use the service after a change accepts the new version.

10. Final provisions

Should a provision be invalid, the validity of the remainder is unaffected. The law at the operator's registered seat applies, unless mandatory consumer protection provisions say otherwise.
